A tech company in Barcelona is seeking a senior Technology Leader/Engineering Manager to oversee development teams and ensure delivery of high-quality web products. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, extensive experience in web development with technologies such as Typescript and NodeJs, and a passion for fostering collaboration. • Align development roadmap with the Product team.
• Implement software development best practices., * Collaborate closely with the Product team to align the development roadmap of new products and iterations of existing products
• Define and implement software development best practices (such as CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, security) across all projects under your responsibility
• Define and track a set of metrics to evaluate the health of applications, monitoring performance, stability, and software quality
• Assess the technical feasibility of new projects and features, providing high-level estimates and recommendations
• Enhancing the importance of team unity so that everyone feels part of the project and the company

• Proven leadership of at least 4 years in tech teams.

• Experience with Typescript, NodeJs, and React needed.

• You have previous experience (more than 4 years) in BE/FE Web development (Typescript, NodeJs, React)

• You have experience in working in websites with suites of cloud computing services such as AWS or GCP

• You have previous experience managing people, delivery, quality and processes

• You know how to implement software development best practices

• You like to work in high pace and dynamic environments

• You are an expert in promoting teamwork so that teams collaborate with each other and create synergies for continuous improvement

• You have great communication and leadership skills

• You are fluent in English and advanced level of Spanish (optional)
