Job description
We're looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to drive the delivery of key technology initiatives focusing on data, systems, and business applications within a fast-paced programme environment.
You'll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, working with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions on time, on budget, and aligned to strategic goals.
What you'll do as an IT Project Manager
As an experienced IT Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of key technology initiatives, with a focus on data, systems, and business applications across a dynamic programme environment.
- Lead delivery of IT and data projects from concept to launch
- Manage plans, budgets, risks, and stakeholders across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
- Collaborate with technical teams, business leaders, and third-party vendors
- Drive data and information management initiatives (governance, quality, platforms)
- Ensure compliance with security, GDPR, and regulatory standards
- Provide clear reporting and maintain strong governance throughout
Requirements
We're looking for an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, who brings a customer-focused mindset and a passion for improving user experience. You'll also have:
- Proven track record delivering technology and data projects
- Strong experience across Agile & Waterfall methodologies
- Experience managing suppliers and complex programmes including managing budgets, financial forecasting, and resource planning.
- Experience in data transformation or development programmes.
- Knowledge of enterprise systems, integrations, and data architecture.
- Knowledge of data governance, enterprise systems, and IT delivery lifecycle
- Relevant qualification (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent)
It would be a bonus if you have: Agile certifications, MSP, DevOps/CI-CD exposure, or experience in regulated environments.
Benefits & conditions
Contract: Permanent, full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Salary: Circa £75k depending on skills and experience
