We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This is a IN PERSON ROLE AT OUR ALTRINCHAM OFFICES . The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex healthcare data, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making through advanced data visualisation and analysis tools. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail., * Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualise healthcare data effectively.
- Analyse large datasets from various sources including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relational databases to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design and optimise database structures to support efficient data storage and retrieval, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Utilise programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis tasks.
- Manage projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet quality standards.
- Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within healthcare operations.
- Create detailed documentation using Visio for system architecture, workflows, and data processes.
- Support database design efforts to enhance data management capabilities aligned with organisational goals.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Proven experience in business intelligence or data analysis within the healthcare sector or related fields.
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), SQL (including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server), and Visio.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and project management principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in database design, optimisation, and management of large datasets.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
- Relevant qualifications in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Healthcare Informatics or related disciplines are preferred. Experience in healthcare, mental health, private healthcare, NHS services or regulated clinical environments.
Experience analysing billing, invoicing, referral or patient pathway data.
Knowledge of SQL or database querying.
Experience with healthcare practice management systems or electronic patient record systems.
Understanding of CQC-regulated healthcare services.
Experience creating automated dashboards and recurring management reports.
Strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence or operational reporting.
