Our customers depend on their automation systems to keep operations running. When something needs attention, they need fast, knowledgeable support from someone who cares about getting them back on track.
As part of our Technical Support team, you'll be a first point of contact for customers and colleagues experiencing technical issues. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software problems, maintain network connectivity, and help ensure our automation solutions perform at their best every day.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, explaining technical concepts in plain English, and knowing their work makes a real difference to warehouse teams across the UK.
You'll be based at our Lincoln office, with occasional travel to customer sites. As we grow, there will also be opportunities to get involved in international deployments.
What you'll do
- Respond to support requests promptly, diagnosing and resolving issues with care and clarity
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system problems (Windows Server, Linux including Ubuntu, Fedora, and RedHat)
- Support network connectivity, including LAN, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Perform routine maintenance: system updates, patch management, and hardware diagnostics
- Configure and manage network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls
- Document solutions clearly so the whole team benefits from shared knowledge
- Communicate with users at all technical levels, translating complex issues into straightforward guidance
- Collaborate with colleagues to escalate and resolve more complex problems efficiently
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * Solid understanding of computer networking (LAN, VPN, firewalls, general troubleshooting)
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems
- Confidence troubleshooting software across different platforms
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira or similar
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical people
- Knowledge of hardware components and diagnostic techniques
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities without losing focus on quality
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required
- Experience with PostgreSQL is a bonus, but not essential
