Job description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and hands-on experience with Java and Selenium Automation. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, maintaining, and testing mainframe applications while supporting automation initiatives and ensuring high-quality software delivery., * Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications.

  • Analyze business requirements and create technical solutions.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
  • Support batch jobs, JCL execution, and production issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
  • Ensure application performance, reliability, and compliance with standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS

  • Strong knowledge of Java
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks
  • SQL and database concepts
  • Batch processing and job scheduling
  • Experience with debugging and production support
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodology, and version control tools (Git)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, * Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Agile environments.
  • Banking, insurance, or financial domain experience is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
