Job description
If you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and working hands-on with technology, this role is for you! As a Desktop Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to tech expert supporting both onsite employees and a remote workforce in a Windows 11 environment. You'll work with a collaborative IT team, support key business systems, and play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and laptop hardware/software issues (in person & over the phone)
- Install, configure, image, and deploy new computers and applications
- Perform minor hardware, software, and peripheral repairs
- Set up, manage, and maintain user accounts and permissions
- Diagnose issues using technical documentation, user input, and system tools
- Support our core CRM application (Artiva)
- Manage help desk tickets, provide user updates, and meet SLA expectations
- Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Maintain flexibility for an occasional rotating Saturday shift
- (Friday off the week you work Saturday!)
Schedule
- Monday: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
- Tuesday - Friday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
- Rotating Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, * In-office call/contact center (This role might support occasional hybrid work in some circumstances.
- Federal and State contractor

Hybrid Work Requirements:
- Hard-wired high-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps up/down)
- Private, quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Full adherence to Telecommute Policy
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows Remote Desktop?, * 3+ years of experience in a Desktop Support or Technical Support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Active Directory and help desk ticketing systems
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
- Experience supporting VoIP systems and softphones (a plus!)
- Familiarity with firewall concepts and basic network security
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
