Job description

We're hiring an Experienced Telecommunications Technician to support structured cabling and low-voltage installations across commercial construction, healthcare, education, and enterprise environments throughout the Atlanta area., * Read and interpret construction drawings, cable schedules, and project documentation

  • Perform copper and fiber optic installations in commercial environments
  • Support low-voltage system installations and commissioning activities
  • Troubleshoot cabling issues and ensure quality workmanship
  • Assist foremen and project managers with project execution and field coordination
  • Mentor and support less experienced technicians when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and job site standards
  • Work safely on active construction sites and occupied facilities
  • Represent CCS professionally with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Construction plans?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, This role is ideal for someone who already understands commercial cabling fundamentals and is ready to take on greater responsibility in the field. You'll work independently, help solve field challenges, support project execution, and assist in developing newer technicians., * 3+ years of commercial telecommunications, structured cabling, or low-voltage installation experience

  • Experience with Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
  • Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and project drawings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the workday
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights up to 30 feet
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Must pass background check, drug screening, and E-Verify requirements, * BICSI certification or industry-related certifications
  • Fiber termination and testing experience
  • Experience leading crews or serving as a lead technician
