Job description
The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity. This role supports day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of network devices and services across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. A current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is required to ensure foundational expertise in routing, switching, and network troubleshooting., Network Operations & Support
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network appliances.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; identify and resolve connectivity issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis for network outages and performance degradation.
- Provide Tier II/Tier III support for network-related incidents and service requests.
Configuration & Change Management
- Manage network configurations, firmware upgrades, and patching activities.
- Implement approved network changes in accordance with established change-management procedures.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, inventories, and configuration documentation.
Security & Reliability
- Implement and maintain network security controls such as VLANs, ACLs, firewall rules, and network segmentation.
- Support network hardening, access control, and secure connectivity practices.
- Monitor for unauthorized access, misconfigurations, and network anomalies.
Infrastructure & Projects
- Support network design and implementation for new sites, expansions, and technology refreshes.
- Assist with WAN/LAN connectivity, VPNs, and remote access solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for circuit provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain network documentation including diagrams, IP address management, and configuration standards.
- Ensure network operations align with organizational IT policies and procedures.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Wi-Fi protocol?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in network administration or network operations.
- Active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (required).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Routing and switching (TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, basic BGP concepts)
- LAN/WAN technologies
- Wireless networking (802.11 standards)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models.
- Experience working in enterprise or multi-site network environments.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location., * Experience with Cisco enterprise networking equipment.
- Familiarity with firewall platforms, VPN technologies, and network monitoring tools.
- Experience supporting cloud-connected or hybrid network environments.
- Additional certifications (e.g., CCNP, Network+, or vendor-specific credentials).
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or in an associated discipline preferred; two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
WORK, ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- May require on-call support or after-hours maintenance windows.
- Work may involve data centers, network closets, and field locations.
- Position requires adherence to organizational IT security and operational policies.
