  • Directs, prepares, designs, codes, tests, debugs, and maintains complex computer programs.
  • Interacts with key business individuals to understand business issues and goals.
  • Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives.
  • Works with users to support business applications, and investigate operational problems/system requirements.
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
  • Refines business requirements from which programs will be written.
  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.
  • Responsible for completion of development projects.
  • Solves user inquiries that arise during day-to-day operation.
  • Regularly provides coaching, guidance and training to less-experienced analysts/programmers.
  • Develops business cases, requirements and performance metrics.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Web services design?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study, AND Two (2) Years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study, AND Two (2) Years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study, AND Five (5) Years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Systems development and the project delivery life cycle
  • C# and the .NET Framework
  • Web development with ASP.NEW, HTML, or JavaScript
  • Modern JavaScript libraries (ReactJS, Angular and MaterialUI)
  • ASP.NET Web services (Web API/REST and WCF)
  • Relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server
  • WPF/WCF
