We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Data Center Level 2 Engineer to join our innovative IT support team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting complex data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the stability of critical data center operations., * Provide advanced technical support for data center hardware, software, and network systems, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and storage solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to computer networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Manage and monitor IT infrastructure components using tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to ensure system health and performance.
- Perform routine maintenance on operating systems including Windows Server, Linux distributions, and macOS to ensure stability and security.
- Support network administration tasks such as LAN/WAN configuration, firewall management (e.g., Meraki), and network security protocols.
- Assist with desktop support activities for end-users by troubleshooting hardware issues, operating system problems, and software conflicts using Microsoft Office applications and other productivity tools.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures meticulously to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in help desk operations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Problem-solving?, * Proven experience providing technical support in a data center or enterprise IT environment with a focus on hardware troubleshooting and network administration.
- Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, LAN/WAN architecture, and firewall management.
- Hands-on experience managing operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), Linux, and macOS in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with IT support tools like SCCM, GPOs, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira for incident tracking and system management.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components including servers, switches, routers, mobile devices, and storage solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analysis skills to diagnose complex problems quickly while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
