- Design, develop, and apply signal/information processing, machine learning, and advanced software systems to support mission and program objectives.
- Develop, research, and transition cutting-edge AI/ML-enabled software within fielded signal processing systems
- Lead and contribute to hands-on design, implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of production-level AI/ML solutions
- Apply advanced mathematical, engineering, and signal processing expertise to develop automation algorithms, automation display systems, and OMI software
Requirements
We are currently seeking an experienced signal/information processing, machine learning, and/or software engineer who is highly motivated to apply their skills towards developing and managing cutting-edge software within a collaborative small-team environment. This is a great opportunity to get deeply involved in hands-on development, management, and transition of production level AI/ML software within fielded signal processing systems and in support of the advancement of these systems through AI/ML, * B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline required; advanced degree(s) preferred
- 5-7+ years of progressive engineering experience (10+ years desirable for senior roles)
- Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and programming in C, MATLAB, Python, and/or TensorFlow
- Additional experience with C++, Java, Unity, Godot, and related software frameworks desirable
- Demonstrated experience in AI/ML system research, development, validation, deployment, and sustainment
- Expertise in software debugging, testing, verification, and performance metric-based analysis, including real-time system data evaluation
- Experience supporting Navy sonar systems (e.g., SQQ-89, IUSS, SURTASS, SUB Passive Sonar) or other government system development programs preferred
- Experience working within large-scale software system integration efforts across multiple teams
- Secret Clearance

- Proven project leadership with increasing levels of technical responsibility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and business growth
- Demonstrated ability to excel in collaborative small-team environments while contributing to enterprise-level integration efforts
Clearance Requirements
Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
