- Walk hospital floors and departments to locate IT equipment
- Identify devices such as desktops, laptops, monitors, WOWs, printers, and peripherals
- Document device presence in Excel or tracking tools
- Follow structured checklists and daily assignments
- Escalate missing devices, discrepancies, or access issues
Requirements
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a large-scale Epic readiness initiative focused on identifying and documenting IT equipment across hospital environments. This is a hands-on, high-volume role ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and comfortable working onsite., * 1-3 years of experience in IT support, inventory, or field-based roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow structured processes
- Comfortable working onsite and walking for extended periods
- Basic familiarity with computer hardware and peripherals
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working in healthcare or hospital environments
- Prior involvement in inventory, asset tracking, or deployment projects
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, ServiceNow, or ticketing systems
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITF+
- Experience working in large facilities or multi-building environments
