Job description

SummaryThe App Development Analyst I is responsible for application analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, maintenance, and technical/software support., Works directly with business customers and technical teams on assigned requests related to Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software applications. Stays up to date with application releases, adjacent relevant technology, and industry best practices. Performs functional tests/demonstrates understanding of how functionality supports business processes. Collaborates with technical teams and customers to improve software functionality. Participates in code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practices fundamental Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes. Contributes to knowledge sharing and documentation. Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure applications are patched against known vulnerabilities. You Must Have

Requirements

Bachelors degree, certification, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors or certification Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job United States Citizenship Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations) We Value Experience with M365 SharePoint, Power Platform, and Copilot. Experience with COTS Applications (i.e. Jira, Confluence, OpenText, etc.). Industry knowledge of manufacturing, government, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training.
