Job description

Truesdell Corporation is currently seeking a Field Service Mechanic Supervisor to join our Western Region team based out of Colton, CA to manage and coordinate mechanics. This candidate will be able to travel nationwide. The objective of the Equipment Superintendent is to ensure that all equipment, fleet and facilities are performing effectively and efficiently at maximum benefit to the company. Our ideal candidate will enjoy travel, working on bridges, learning new skills, and working with our fast-paced team and is excited about the opportunity to advance within our company., * Ensure that all equipment and fleet assets located in the Region are fully operational, safe, and delivering maximum benefit to the company through firsthand observation and verification.

  • Maintain and repair all equipment and fleet vehicles in the Region to support the primary objective of operational readiness. This includes organizing, prioritizing, overseeing, or personally performing all necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Organize and manage the assigned facility for maximum efficiency by tracking, controlling, and overseeing all equipment, maintenance inventory, and assets moving in and out of the site, including through regular on-site visits.
  • Continuously track and record the location, availability, and condition of all equipment and fleet assets within the Eastern Region, clearly noting both completed and pending maintenance or repair tasks.
  • Monitor and document all defects, issues, repairs, and maintenance activities related to each equipment and fleet vehicle, ensuring all information is accurate, current, and easily accessible.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Team building?, "Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa at this time.", * Valid Drivers License required.

  • Travel required. Roughly 60% of the time.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Safety first mentality. Awareness and understanding of OHSA and company safety requirements.
  • Meet quality standards of service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

Experience:

  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of equipment maintenance.
  • Previous experience as a maintenance manager for 3-5 years.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office including excel.
