Snowflake data engineer - Dallas TX

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions within Snowflake.
• Build and maintain logical and physical data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries utilizing features such as PIVOT, GROUPING SETS, ROLLUP, and CUBE.
• Manage and support Snowflake production environments, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Implement best practices for data warehousing, governance, and performance tuning.

Data Integration & Pipeline Development

• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Integrate data from relational databases, REST APIs, SaaS applications, and event-streaming platforms.
• Build scalable and reusable data ingestion frameworks and transformation processes.
• Ensure high-quality, consumption-ready datasets through data cleansing, validation, and transformation.

Data Modeling & Architecture

• Design normalized and dimensional data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Develop and maintain metadata, documentation, and data lineage artifacts.

Python Development

• Develop Python-based solutions for data transformation, workflow automation, and orchestration.
• Build API integrations, automation scripts, and data processing services.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and retry mechanisms.
• Support deployment and maintenance of production-grade data engineering solutions.

AI & Intelligent Data Workflows

• Utilize Snowflake Cortex and LLM-powered capabilities to develop intelligent data applications.
• Design and implement AI agent workflows within the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Explore and apply agent-based architectures for data discovery, automation, and decision support.
• Collaborate with data science and AI teams to operationalize AI-driven solutions.

Backend Integration & Services

• Develop backend integrations using Python and REST APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, pagination, rate limiting, and error-handling strategies.
