Sr. Software Developer (Ref# SSD611YK)

Job Duties: Develop and modify software or programs at a high technical level using .NET technologies. Identify client requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with clients, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within the base platform. Analyze complex business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users. Prepare root cause analysis and impact analysis documents for the reported incidents and design a permanent solution. Develop in-detail technical specifications for Guidewire application software and changes being implemented. Review technical specifications documents prepared by other team members. Provided innovative solutions to complex system problems. Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing programs as per the design requirements. Prepare unit test plan based on the system requirements specifications and the code changes implemented. Inspect test results for accuracy and deviations. Ensure the desired quality standards and the system functionality are being met. Resolve quick fix tickets expeditiously and update the knowledge base to similar incidents in future before a permanent resolution is implemented. Use of Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Gosu, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, MVC, RESTful API, Entity Framework, ADO.Net, WCF, Web Services, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON, SVN, SoapUI, SQL Server, and Windows.

Position requires 2 years of experience with Guidewire, Gosu, .NET Framework, ASP.Net, WCF, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL Server., Requirements: Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Team Lead, Software Manager, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Guidewire, Gosu, .NET Framework, ASP.Net, WCF, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL Server. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
