SME Sr Hands on engineer who can connect with engineering leadership, drive architecture and platform level discussions.
Requirements
- Overall 10+ years of experience with strong technical and communication skills
- Expert-level data engineering - pipelines, lakehouse, ETL/ELT at scale
- Strong Azure hands-on - ADF, ADLS Gen2, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Event Hubs
- Solid Databricks experience - Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Spark optimization, Workflows
- Python (PySpark) and SQL proficiency
Strong Differentiators:
- Former Databricks employee - Highly preferred
- Databricks certified (Professional/Expert) + Technically hands on Senior
- Retail, supply chain, or CPG data platform background
- Medallion architecture experience (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Data governance, Unity Catalog, or data mesh exposure
- Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience
