Job description
As a Microsoft Solutions Architect and team leader, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions using Microsoft technologies. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Azure AI Services, Copilot Studios, Azure Foundry, Power Platform, and other Microsoft platforms to create scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into detailed requirements, architectural designs, and see those through to delivery. Additionally, you will support optimizing existing cloud infrastructures, ensuring they meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry and Azure AI Services, with a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects using Microsoft technologies., Experience with designing, Business Engagement & Solution Strategy
- Leads or contributes to discovery and architecture assessment engagements, including technical feasibility analysis, solution options, and high level estimates to support planning and decision making.
- Partners with business stakeholders to assess current and future state processes, translating operational needs and constraints into solution architecture designs that deliver measurable business value.
- Establishes and enforces architectural standards and governance practices, proactively identifying technical risks and recommending mitigation strategies across the solution lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders on solution tradeoffs and roadmap implications.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on initiatives, challenges, and outcomes.
- Analyze current architecture and provide recommendations based on stakeholder needs.
- Stay current with emerging architecture principles and technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization.
Application Architecture & Engineering
- Designs end to end Automation and Agentic solution architectures, defining patterns and technical approaches-including APIs, messaging, security, data flows, and scalability-to support reporting, automation, and enterprise interoperability.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure automation and agent focused architectures.
- Analyze current services and provide suggestions on where to improve architecture and processes by leveraging Power Platform, Azure AI Services and Copilot Studios.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in Power Platform, Azure Foundry and Microsoft Azure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Monitor systems, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
- Helps the team make platform and design decisions aligned to enterprise standards, governance, and long term sustainability.
- Supports development teams with architectural guidance and resolves design level blockers.
- Partners with engineering, QA, and operations teams to translate solution architectures into well executed implementations, ensuring technical solutions align with architectural intent, non functional requirements, and business outcomes.
- Serves as the technical authority for solution delivery, providing architectural leadership while working in close partnership with TPMs and engineering leads on execution planning, sequencing, and delivery alignment.
- Provides architectural leadership to engineering teams delivering automated systems and agentic solutions, guiding design decisions, enforcing architectural standards, and ensuring implementations align with approved solution designs and long term platform strategy.
- Evaluates and incorporates AI Services, agentic solutions, and intelligent automation capabilities into solution designs, ensuring responsible use, enterprise governance compliance, and operational readiness.
- Experience designing permission structures and implementing user access authentication with Microsoft Entra.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, systems architecture, and an understanding of the DevOps culture. Success in this role is measured by in scope delivery, architectural integrity, scalability, security posture, and alignment to client business outcomes. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Agentic AI Business Solutions Architecture highly desirable., * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Tools with at least 4+ years in a client facing leadership roles.
- Experience with architecting middleware solutions specifically on Microsoft stack
- Experience building in Power Platform, Dataverse, Microsoft Copilot Studios, Azure Foundry, Azure AI Services, custom API's, SQL, Azure Function/ Logic Apps, and other agentic solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in SDL lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
- Microsoft Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect
- Experience working in Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC)
- Experience in building solutions for the Financial Services industry
Nice to have:
Experience with AI Ops / MLOps practices, including monitoring, deployment, governance, and lifecycle management of AI and machine learning solutions in Azure environments.
