Job description

The Salesforce Portfolio Manager leads the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the City's enterprise Salesforce platform, including support for the 311-service platform. The Salesforce platform serves as a foundational system for digital service delivery, enabling agencies to manage service requests, streamline operations, and improve resident experience.

This role partners with agency leadership, business stakeholders, and vendor teams to identify priorities, define requirements, and deliver Salesforce capabilities that improve service delivery and support agency missions across the City.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The role manages a team of Salesforce developers and administrators and ensures the platform evolves to meet organizational needs through an iterative, value-driven approach. Strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and experience managing multiple initiatives are required. Public sector and enterprise platform experience are preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must:

Education: Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

AND

Experience: Have seven years of application programming, systems design, hierarchical/relational database management and/or GIS experience; including three years of supervisory responsibilities as disciplining, evaluating the performance of and recommending the hiring, firing, and promoting of subordinate employees.

OR

Equivalency Notes: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Non- supervisory experience or education may not be substituted for the required supervisory experience.

Licenses, Registrations, and Certificates: Advanced technical credentials, e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), preferred., * Knowledge of up-to-date technology strategies and resources.

  • Knowledge of technology management and current technology.
  • Knowledge of effective data center management.
  • Knowledge of budget development.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning for technology.
  • Knowledge of quality management standards and processes.
  • Knowledge of forecasting technology requirements.
  • Ability to conduct systems audits for technology.
  • Ability to research and implement technological solutions.
  • Ability to solve technology problems.
