Job description

The IT Manager is responsible for working with the IT Director to plan, organize, and execute all IT functions across the organization. This includes overseeing IT operations, supporting and maintaining existing systems, and implementing new technical solutions aligned with business needs. The role also includes managing IT staff and ensuring performance expectations are met. As the department scales from 4 to 8+ team members and 10 to 14 offices, strong organizational leadership and the ability to maintain structured, efficient workflows will be essential., * Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, software systems, network security, data backup and recovery, and end-user support.

  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, including security measures to protect the organization's assets.
  • Ensure that all IT systems are secure and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Own and drive performance against key metrics and KPIs to ensure efficient and effective IT operations
  • Manage IT Help Desk, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Plan and implement new technology initiatives, including system upgrades and migrations.
  • Develop and deliver reports on IT operations, performance metrics, and project status to support data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize IT projects and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets and ensure that spending is aligned with organizational goals.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as needed to support operational priorities and organizational goals

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * 5+ years' work-related experience with managing teams

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, associate degree accepted with equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop IT teams, driving performance and accountability
  • Strong communication skills, effectively translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects, priorities, and workloads in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated project leadership, delivering initiatives from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement
  • Experience with IT operations, budgeting, and vendor management, including financial and contract oversight
  • Solid technical and security knowledge, including infrastructure, systems, and regulatory best practices, * IT management: 5 years (Required)
