Job description
A Strategy expert with deep professional experience working across the Telecommunications industry - and a genuine obsession with what AI makes possible. You see around corners. You translate complex, fast-moving dynamics into sharp, actionable strategies that clients can execute at scale. You are not just keeping up with the AI revolution - you are actively shaping how your clients lead it. You thrive in ambiguity, energize the teams around you, and build the kind of trusted client relationships that last well beyond a single engagement. Whether you are advising a Tier 1 carrier on its next network monetization strategy or helping a converged operator redefine its enterprise services portfolio, you bring the intellectual rigor, creative instinct, and human connection to make it real.
The Work:
- Apply deep Telecommunications expertise to help clients rethink their growth and profitability strategies - from redefining consumer and enterprise go-to-market models to designing AI-native network and service platforms that create lasting competitive moats.
- Lead transformative engagements that reimagine how telecommunications companies operate - championing customer value management frameworks, AI-first network operations, and data-driven commercial models that deliver measurable, year-over-year performance gains.
- Bring structure and strategy to the industry's hardest problems - network transformation, AI infusion, and converged services enablement - building compelling hypotheses and rigorous business cases that unlock transformational value.
- Harness the power of AI as both a consulting tool and a client deliverable - using advanced analytics, generative AI, and intelligent automation to accelerate insight generation, sharpen recommendations, and demonstrate value faster than the competition.
- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams spanning network, commercial, and strategy - mentoring future leaders, shaping culture, and cementing Accenture's reputation as the definitive thought leader in Telecommunications.
- Act as the single point of ownership for major engagements - responsible not just for delivery, but for making the work successful analytically, commercially, and relationally.
- Set the overall narrative, rewrite or reshape stories for executives, and ensure consistency across workstreams.
- Quickly grasp commercial excellence concepts and have familiarity with the sales cycle.
- Travel as needed, up to 80%.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience consulting for or working at a Telecommunications company or a company serving the Telecommunications industry.
Bonus Points If:
- You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
- Strong client communication skills with a proven ability to influence and inspire senior executives.
- A proven track record of delivery on complex, high-impact client engagements where AI played a central role.
- Hands-on experience applying generative AI, machine learning, or AI-powered platforms to solve real business problems - for clients or within your own organization.
- Prior experience driving insights using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with telecommunications network architectures, 5G/fiber strategies, or AI-driven network optimization is a strong plus.
