Job description
- Drive Growth of the Cybersecurity Portfolio: Own the business strategy and execution for IBM's cybersecurity portfolio. Drive revenue growth, pipeline development, and market expansion by positioning IBM's differentiated capabilities in AI-enabled threat detection, automation, and intelligent security operations.
- Drive Strategic Client Engagement: Build and maintain trusted C-suite relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and senior business leaders. Position IBM as a strategic partner for modern cybersecurity transformation, shaping complex opportunities that integrate consulting, technology platforms, managed security services, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Lead End-to-End Opportunity and Delivery Execution: Oversee the full lifecycle of cybersecurity engagements-from opportunity origination and solution design through delivery governance and client success. Ensure consistent delivery excellence, financial performance, and measurable security outcomes.
- Advance AI-Enabled Security Innovation: Champion the integration of AI, automation, and analytics into cybersecurity offerings and client engagements. Collaborate with IBM Technology, Research, and Consulting teams to accelerate adoption of AI-driven capabilities that enhance threat detection, response, and security operations.
- Mobilize Cross-IBM Capabilities: Align resources across IBM Consulting, Technology, Research, and ecosystem partners to deliver differentiated cybersecurity solutions that leverage IBM's leadership in hybrid cloud, AI, and enterprise security.
In this role, you will help shape the future of AI-enabled cybersecurity, enabling clients to modernize their security operations, respond faster to threats, and build resilient digital enterprises. Your leadership will contribute directly to the growth and market leadership of IBM's cybersecurity portfolio while strengthening IBM's position as a trusted partner for secure digital transformation.

Required technical and professional expertise
Candidates should bring strong professional and technical expertise in cybersecurity, including a deep understanding of modern threat landscapes, security architectures, and enterprise risk management.
Requirements
Experience with AI-enabled security capabilities, automation, and advanced analytics within security operations is highly valued.
The role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value, shape innovative solutions, and guide clients in adopting modern, intelligent cybersecurity strategies.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience with modern cybersecurity architectures and frameworks, including zero trust, cloud security, identity and access management, and security operations.
Familiarity with AI-enabled security capabilities, automation, and advanced analytics used to enhance threat detection, response, and security operations.
Knowledge of enterprise security platforms, SIEM and SOAR technologies, and the ability to integrate cybersecurity solutions within hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
Experience aligning security solutions with business and regulatory requirements is also highly valued.
