Job description
The Technology Center Technician utilizes their knowledge of CNC machining and CAM programming to give demonstrations to customers and other audiences on Ingersoll Cutting Tool's technology and capabilities. The ideal candidate for the Technician I role will enjoy working with people and has a high level of interest in CNC machining and programming. Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:
- Set up and operate various CNC machines to produce parts for demonstrations.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Professionally administer demonstrations to a live audience.
- Assist in trouble shooting and resolving problems with machines as they arise.
- Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and coolant replenishment.
- Use inspection tools (scales, rulers, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, dial-indicators, probes)
- Use of material handling equipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Always maintain a high level of safe work practices.
- Learn company operating systems as needed to effectively perform relevant work functions for this position
Requirements
Do you have experience in Safety protocol adherence?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Previous experience working in a CNC manufacturing environment or CNC certificate.

Ability to continually learn processes and machining techniques.

Proficient or ability to learn MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)

Strong attention to detail and a professional attitude is a must.

High school diploma or equivalent; certificate, diploma or degree in manufacturing engineering or relevant manufacturing discipline

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

This is an on-site, full-time position that may require intermittent overtime based on workflow demands (including potential for long shifts and/or weekend work).
