Job description
- Supports the stability, security, and efficient operation of Army enterprise network environments within the NETCOM Global Management Team (GMT).
- Provides mid-level administration, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting of critical network infrastructure that supports the Army Enterprise Network and JRSS environments.
- Operating within a 24/7/365 mission environment, the Network Administrator assists with incident response, maintains boundary security devices, applies DoD/Army cybersecurity policies, and collaborates with mission partners such as Theater Signal Commands, DISA, RCCs, and NECs.
- Contributes to managing routers, firewalls, load balancers, and related network services while supporting automation initiatives, documentation updates, and compliance with enterprise security requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in related field (ex. Information Technology or Cybersecurity)
Experience
- 1+ years of related experience in network administration or support
Technical Skills
- Experience supporting DoDIN Army or DoD networking environments preferred
- Strong understanding of routing and switching fundamentals (OSPF, BGP basics, VRRP/HSRP)
- Experience working with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs, RMF processes, ACAS, and Army cybersecurity compliance
- DoD8140 certification required (e.g., Security+ CE, CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
- Network certification such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent, preferred
Security Clearance
- Active Top Secret with SCI

Work Requirements
Years of Experience, The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
