Job description
What You'll Do: You'll own projects end-to-end - from original concept through design, implementation, and closeout - while keeping stakeholders aligned and outcomes on track. Day-to-day, that means:
- Planning and managing multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously
- Leading process improvement initiatives across people, process, and technology
- Driving performance engineering and process redesign efforts
- Conducting data collection, process analysis, and root cause analysis
- Adhering to department standards for project execution and performance improvement
- Serving as a key cross-functional collaborator and communicator across teams
- Operating with increasing autonomy as you grow into the PM II level
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of project management experience OR High school diploma/GED and 3+ years managing projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid Microsoft Office proficiency
PM II - Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of managing projects OR High school diploma/GED and 5+ years managing projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects with minimal supervision
- Prior experience with data collection, process analysis, and root cause analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
vSolid Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred / Bonus Points (both levels):
- PMP certification or equivalent industry-recognized credential
- Healthcare industry project management experience
- Experience with business and IT planning
- Application implementation and support background
- Understanding of process interrelationships and systems thinking
