Job description

RightDrive is seeking a dedicated and motivated IT Systems Administrator to support our growing dealership network. This role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of company's technology systems across multiple locations.

The IT Systems Administrator will provide remote and on-site support, oversee hardware inventory and lifecycle management, coordinate with vendors and service providers, and recommend technology upgrades that improve efficiency and scalability. This individual will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, protecting company technology assets, and ensuring employees have the tools they need to deliver exceptional service to customers.

This position is based in El Paso, Texas, and supports multiple RightDrive locations. Regular travel within El Paso is required, with occasional travel to Fort Worth, Texas, and Muncie, Indiana, as business needs dictate., * Provide day-to-day technical support for users across multiple dealership locations.

  • Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Support and maintain Apple desktops and laptops, Windows PCs, and iOS devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues involving macOS, Windows, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot internet, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity issues.
  • Maintain and support VoIP phone systems and communication platforms.
  • Configure and troubleshoot multifunction printers, copiers, scanners, and devices integrated with the Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • Support security camera systems and related hardware.
  • Maintain hardware inventory records and lifecycle management.
  • Recommend upgrades and technology standardization.
  • Coordinate with vendors, internet service providers, and third-party technology partners.
  • Document technical procedures and support activities.
  • Promote cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.
  • Participate in after-hours or emergency support when necessary.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in macOS administration?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Required

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
  • Experience supporting macOS, Windows 10/11, and iOS devices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting VoIP phone systems and network-connected printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including occasional travel to Fort Worth, Texas, and Muncie, Indiana.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with dealership software and Dealer Management Systems (DMS), including VinSolutions and related platforms, is a plus.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or distributed operations.
  • Knowledge of routers, switches, firewall troubleshooting, and basic network infrastructure.
  • Experience with IP security camera systems and surveillance equipment.
  • Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Experience using ticketing systems and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Strong experience supporting Apple desktops, laptops, and macOS environments.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, access management, and technology best practices., * Bachelor's (Preferred)
