Job description

In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for resolving technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless computer and network operations. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, innovative setting while making a tangible impact on daily business operations., * Provide expert technical support to end-users via help desk tickets, phone, and on-site visits, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance
  • Manage computer hardware setups, upgrades, and repairs to maintain a reliable IT environment
  • Configure and support computer networking components such as LAN, WAN, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and network devices like Meraki and Cisco switches
  • Administer Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), and BMC Remedy for user management and system deployment
  • Support mobile devices and operating systems to ensure connectivity and security across all platforms
  • Assist with IT infrastructure maintenance including server management using Windows Server and Linux environments

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, * Strong expertise in technical support, software troubleshooting, and desktop support across multiple operating systems

  • Proficiency in computer management tools such as SCCM, GPO, Active Directory, and BMC Remedy for efficient system administration
  • In-depth knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN setup, DNS configuration, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, firewalls (including Meraki), and network security best practices
  • Experience with help desk platforms like ServiceNow and Jira for tracking issues and managing workflows
  • Familiarity with operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), macOS, Linux; understanding of network administration principles such as TCP/IP and DNS management
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems quickly using strong analysis skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users while providing exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) tools and security protocols for safeguarding company data on smartphones and tablets
