Job description

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain application components within FAST based systems
  • Work with FAST Core modules to configure, customize, and optimize system functionality
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well documented C# code
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures in PostgreSQL
  • Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and deployment activities
  • Troubleshoot production and integration issues across application layers
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to deliver high quality solutions

Requirements

Candidates must be working from a State that is on the east coast time zone - (EST Time Zone)

*Must have experience working for State / Government projects

Looking for three C#/ PostgreSQL Application Developer (FAST Systems)

Our client is seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong C# engineering skills and hands on experience supporting or enhancing FAST Enterprises technology platforms. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise scale applications using FAST Core components, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio within a structured SDLC environment.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of software engineering fundamentals, FAST system knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams in a government or large enterprise setting., * Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience in enterprise application development

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with at least one FAST Enterprises system, such as:

  • GenTax

  • Fast DS?VS

  • Fast UI?PL

  • Fast CSE

Hands on experience with FAST Core components

Strong proficiency in C#

Experience working with PostgreSQL databases

Proficiency using Visual Studio for development, debugging, and solution management

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in state or local government environments
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid SDLC methodologies
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Experience collaborating with QA, BA, and infrastructure teams
