Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations,monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages LINUX and Windows operating systems\x26nbsp;and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Requirements

Five (5)\x26nbsp;years experience\x26nbsp;as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is\x26nbsp;required.\x26nbsp;\x26nbsp;

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is\x26nbsp;required. Five (5) years of\x26nbsp;additional\x26nbsp;SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\x26nbsp;

Certifications: An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required or ability to obtain within 6 months from start date.

Experience with LINUX

Containers/cloud environments

Storage management

Virtualization.

IP networking and Firewall experience

Experience with automation tools is a bonus

Have a solid understanding of PKI/TLS/crypto including crypto policies

Application support and general troubleshooting

Have a good deal of experience with SSP compliance, maintaining STE/STN compliance and support on Linux systems
