Job description

As a Senior IT System Engineer (L2), your mission is to maintain, support, and improve IT systems in production, ensuring reliability and performance across multiple environments., * Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software environments

  • Participate in migration projects and deployment of new environments
  • Perform testing, debugging, updates, and patching
  • Ensure infrastructure security and data protection
  • Handle incident management (L2 support) and ensure operational continuity
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements and new technologies
  • Contribute to documentation, testing, and operational processes
  • Work both from the Brussels office and regularly on-site across multiple locations in Belgium

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Linux (RedHat / CentOS), including scripting (Bash, Python)
  • Strong experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vMotion)
  • Experience in high-availability production environments
  • Basic knowledge of networking (routers, switches, VPN, firewalls)
  • Good command of French and Dutch, * Veeam
  • Puppet
  • Nagios
  • Elastic Stack (Kibana, etc.)
  • Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Git
