Job description
- Develop embedded real-time control software for our advanced laser terminal systems, implementing pointing algorithms and communication protocols
- Develop software on the software side of Xilinx Zynq MPSoC , in both bare-metal and PetaLinux/Yocto environments. Access to varied interfaces such as I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, Ethernet
- Implement support systems on ARM cores for navigation systems, drone communication protocols, and user interfaces. Besides C/C++ code this will also require MySQL, Qt and Java
- Participate in field and flight testing to validate system performance in challenging environments
- Be part of a software team collaborating closely with hardware, optics, and systems teams to integrate, debug, and optimize the full system stack
