As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the quality of high-tech software systems. You design and implement robust automated test solutions and actively contribute to the test strategy and architecture. Working closely with developers and stakeholders, you act as a trusted sparring partner and help drive a strong quality mindset across teams. You take ownership of improving test processes, mentor junior colleagues, and continuously look for ways to make testing smarter, faster, and more effective.
- Design and build robust, scalable test solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Independently implementing automated test frameworks and actively shape the overall test strategy and architecture.
- Apply your strong technical expertise in automated testing and modern tooling to drive efficiency and reliability.
- Own and elevate quality across one or multiple teams, acting as a driving force behind a strong quality mindset.
- Continuously improve test processes, frameworks, and ways of working to increase impact and speed.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers, helping them grow and strengthening the team as a whole.
- Collaborate closely with developers as a trusted sparring partner, and engage with customers when needed to align on quality and expectations.

Requirements
- 5 years of work experience in the high-tech domain.
- Hands-on experience with test automation, including designing and executing tests across multiple levels.
- A good command of English, and preferably Dutch language., Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Embedded Systems, * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or similar.
- 5 years of work experience in the high-tech domain.
- Experience with object-oriented software development in C++, as well as programming experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with test automation, including designing, setting up, maintaining, and optimizing automated test frameworks; generating automated test cases; and executing tests across multiple levels (unit, integration, system).
- Preferably experience with the ROBOT Framework and methodologies such as TDD, BDD, keyword-driven testing, data-driven testing, model-based testing, and property-based testing.
- You are a team player, solution-oriented, and proactive.
- A good command of English, and preferably Dutch language.
Benefits & conditions
Your responsibilities will include enhancing test strategies and collaborating with developers to maintain high-quality standards. A competitive salary range of €57,000 to €76,000 is offered, along with benefits like flexible working hours and a strong focus on personal development., * An all-in employment package between €57,000 and €76,000 (including net expense allowance, mobility package, 13th-month bonus, and holiday allowance). Final salary is based on relevant work experience and level of expertise.
