Job description
We are looking for anIT Communication Awareness Specialist to join our Global User Awareness team at Allianz Technology. In this role, you will play a key part in driving internal communication, awareness initiatives, and training activities across IT operations and security topics.
You will act as a bridge between technical teams and end users, translating complex topics into clear, engaging, and actionable messages. Working in an international and fast-paced environment, you will contribute to strengthening user awareness, supporting operational processes, and ensuring effective communication during technical initiatives and incidents.
This is a highly collaborative role where your creativity, curiosity, and ability to simplify complexity will directly contribute to improving user experience and service delivery across Allianz.
What you do
- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with IT projects, operations, and awareness initiatives
- Create engaging communication content across multiple channels, including intranet articles, newsletters, presentations, video scripts, podcasts, and campaigns
- Design and deliver awareness and training materials (e.g., phishing and vishing simulations, e-learnings, supporting assets) to enhance security awareness
- Act as a key contributor to the global communication community, aligning with internal stakeholders across Allianz
- Support incident management processes by ensuring clear, timely, and structured communication during rollouts or service disruptions
- Facilitate stakeholder communication for technical initiatives, ensuring alignment and transparency across teams
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand, manage, and support operational communication needs
- Develop and maintain communication templates, frameworks, and internal communication guidelines
- Manage internal communities and help structure communication flows that improve service delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement by simplifying communication processes and fostering user-centric approaches, When we do work with recruitment agencies, that engagement is formalized by a contract. Fees will only be paid when there is a contract in place. Without a contract in place, we will not accept invoices on unsolicited resumes, even if the candidate was ultimately employed by Allianz.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft PowerPoint?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, IT, Project Management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in communication, training, or IT-related roles
- Native or fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus
- Experience with digital communication tools, platforms, and channels
- Basic understanding of IT environments, operations, and incident management processes
- Familiarity with Office 365 tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Experience creating content for complex or technical topics
