Job description

  • Develop and enhance Open Telekom Cloud platform.

You will develop and enhance our Open Telekom Cloud platform in a customer-oriented manner. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend.
  • Work hardware-oriented at the console and get your hands "dirty".
  • Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance.
  • Consistently automate with common automation frameworks.
  • Work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a technical degree and 2-3 years of IT experience, particularly focusing on Linux OS security. The position offers a hybrid work model, access to comprehensive training, and various benefits., * 2-3 years of professional experience in IT.

  • Good knowledge of routing, firewalls, and security tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English., * Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in IT and securing Linux OS with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
  • Good knowledge of software defined networks, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS, WAF and physical networks.
  • Knowledge in infrastructure automation.
  • Experience in Linux and network related services and IT-Security.
  • Good level of customer focus.
  • Knowledge of agile development processes.
  • Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches.
  • OpenStack and programming experience in open source projects is a plus.
