Airbus is seeking a Technical Data Engineering Specialist in Getafe, Spain, to manage the delivery of technical data ensuring safety and efficiency in aircraft operations. - Provide direct customer support and answer inquiries., Join our team as a Technical Data Engineering Specialist within the Technical Data Systems Spain (SIDY4) team at Airbus Customer Services. Technical Data feeds safe and efficient aircraft operations through the development and delivery of maintenance and material documentation-the second most critical deliverable after the aircraft itself. This role serves as a key interface with customers, influencing satisfaction and upholding Airbus's reputation., A. Technical Data Authoring and Quality Assurance
- Lead technical data delivery: manage and coordinate authoring activities, ensuring content creation and updates meet specifications, contractual commitments, quality standards, and budget objectives.
- Proactive problem-solving: identify and resolve roadblocks that could delay manual updates within assigned ATA chapters.
- Continuous improvement: assess existing documentation for potential customer issues and implement enhancements to improve quality and process efficiency.
- Stakeholder interface: act as the critical link between technical data, customers, and internal/external partners.
- Configuration management: manage system configuration at the MSN level for all written procedures.
B. Subcontracting Management
- Oversee subcontractors: manage deliveries and monitor the quantitative and qualitative performance of subcontractors supporting authoring activities.
- Performance evaluation: define and analyze KPIs to assess general performance.
C. Design Criteria Integration
- Impact analysis: evaluate aircraft design criteria (Mod, Service Bulletin, MMEL, CDL, MPD, etc.) to detect their impact on technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance: guarantee seamless integration of all affected design criteria into technical manuals.
D. Innovation and Transnational Collaboration
- Drive change: participate in transnational and trans-organizational projects to improve products and processes.
- Process standardization: contribute to continuous improvement of processes, technical data tools, and the standardization of ways of working across the trans-national organization.
E. Customer Support Excellence
- Direct customer support: manage and respond to customer questions using the Tech Request Tool, providing efficient support to improve satisfaction and detect potential safety impacts.
- Career growth: coordinate major technical data topics for a portfolio of airlines/lessors as a TDCI.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant engineering degree and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Experience in customer-facing roles and willingness to travel within Europe is essential. Background and Qualifications
