Job description

Sembo Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and manage cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring security and high availability. Key responsibilities include implementing containerization technologies, developing CI/CD pipelines, and utilizing automation tools like Ansible and Terraform., * Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.

  • Implement and maintain containerization technologies, including Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Rancher.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD and Bitbucket to automate software delivery and deployment processes.

  • Utilize configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration tasks.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and performance of services.

  • Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across the infrastructure.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and proven experience in DevOps.   • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (ArgoCD, Bitbucket).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
