Job description

  • Contribute to the R&D test strategy definition and operation.
  • Design and implement comprehensive test cases for embedded software systems.
  • Develop automated test frameworks and scripts for unit, integration, and system-level testing.
  • Perform manual and automated testing on embedded platforms (e.g., microcontrollers, SoCs).
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Support the Test Manager to ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testability perspective.
  • Maintain test documentation and generate test reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-178C, IEC 62304).

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test cases?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in embedded software testing (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller architectures.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with project tracking and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with artifact dependency management tools (e.g. Nexus)
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and simulation environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Experience in safety-critical domains (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical).
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Knowledge of smartcards and telecommunication standards (e.g., ETSI, GSMA, Global Platform, Javacard)
  • Certification in Process Quality Assessment Models (e.g., ISO9001, SPICE, Automotive SPICE, CMMI).
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
