What you'll be doing
- Develop, validate and apply numerical models related to hydrogeology, reactive transport and coupled processes.
- Work on modelling projects involving flow, solute transport, geochemical reactions and thermo-hydro-chemical processes in geological media.
- Pre-process, visualise and post-process complex spatial and temporal datasets.
- Support the development, customisation and application of numerical modelling tools and scientific software.
- Analyse model results and contribute to their interpretation in the context of geoscientific and environmental applications.
- Assist clients in understanding modelling approaches, assumptions, results and uncertainties.
- Effectively communicate project results in internal meetings and with clients.
- Summarise the work performed in high-quality technical reports.
Requirements
Amphos 21 in Barcelona is seeking a professional to develop, validate, and apply numerical models related to hydrogeology and environmental applications. Strong skills in numerical modelling and solid programming skills, particularly in Python and/or C++, are essential.
The ideal candidate will have an MSc in a relevant discipline and be equipped to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You are familiar with scientific programming, numerical methods and the development or customisation of modelling tools.

Experience with modelling applied to flow and transport phenomena, hydrogeological systems, reactive transport, CFD or coupled processes will be considered an advantage.
