SAP Basis Consultant

SystemsAccountants is looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator in Barcelona, Spain, to play a key role in maintaining and evolving complex SAP landscapes across cloud and on-prem environments. In this hybrid position, you will ensure secure, high-performing SAP platforms that support business transformation initiatives., * Plan and execute SAP upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management.

• Ensure system availability, performance, and compliance with security standards.
• Manage and support daily SAP Basis operations across multiple systems., Join a global technology team responsible for maintaining and evolving a complex SAP landscape across cloud and on-prem environments. You'll play a key role in ensuring secure, high-performing and scalable SAP platforms that support critical business transformation initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work across infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity teams to deliver reliable SAP services at enterprise scale., * Plan and execute SAP upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management
• Ensure system availability, performance, and compliance with security standards
• Manage and support daily SAP Basis operations across multiple systems
• Monitor, optimise, and automate SAP system performance
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in on-call support
• Collaborate with platform and product teams on SAP integration and delivery projects

Ideal candidates have over 7 years of experience with SAP Basis, proven management of complex landscapes, and strong S/4HANA skills. The role features a flexible work model that requires 3 days onsite., * 7+ years' experience in SAP Basis and SAP technology administration.

• Proven experience managing complex SAP landscapes (multi-datacentre and cloud).

• Strong experience with S/4HANA in cloud or hybrid environments., SAP Basis S/4HANA SAP architecture Problem-solving skills, * 7+ years' experience in SAP Basis and SAP technology administration

• Proven experience managing complex SAP landscapes (multi-datacentre and cloud)

• Strong experience with S/4HANA in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, or similar)

• Solid understanding of SAP architecture and tools (e.g. SAP BTP, Solution Manager, ChaRM, CloudALM)

• Expertise in SAP databases and operating systems (HANA, Oracle, Sybase, Unix/Linux)

• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
