arsys ES is seeking a Platform Operations Manager to build a new team of senior engineers in Alcobendas, Spain. This role requires credible leadership and a solid technical foundation with experience in Linux systems administration, Ceph, and OpenStack. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of innovation and respect, leading operational standards and maintaining platform stability during transitions. - Become the subject matter expert for Linux platforms.
- Ensure the stability of the Stretch platform during migration.
- Establish operational workflows and IaC automation standards.

We are looking for a Sr. Strecth Operations Manager to build a new team: Key responsibilities
Build Your Team: Lead the recruitment of 7 senior engineers to fill critical positions in Spain.
Take Technical Command: Become the subject matter expert for Linux platforms, Ceph storage, and OpenStack.
Mitigate Risks: Ensure that the Telekom migration and the stability of Stretch platform are not compromised during the transition.
Design the Future: Establish on-call policies, operational workflows, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation standards. What we'd like to see

Requirements
- 2+ years managing technical teams in a leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience in large-scale Linux systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with Ceph and OpenStack., Credible Leadership: 2+ years managing technical teams and the ability to attract top-tier talent within the Spanish market.
Solid Technical Foundation: 5+ years of real-world experience in large-scale Linux systems administration.
Cloud & Storage Expert: Essential hands-on experience with Ceph and OpenStack.
Automation Master: Proficiency in Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
Solution-Oriented Mindset: The ability to transform chaos into scalable, well-documented systems.
