Job description

We are a growing UK-based AV and technology business looking to strengthen our internal IT capability while continuing to deliver high-quality AV support to our customers.

We operate a Microsoft cloud-first environment and maintain Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. We are seeking a proactive and technically capable individual to take ownership of our internal IT systems and cyber security requirements, while also supporting our external AV service and support operations.

This is a varied role combining internal IT, cyber security, Microsoft 365 administration and customer-facing AV support. Internal IT will form a key part of the role, alongside supporting our AV service desk and customers. AV-specific training and support will be provided where required.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and supporting our internal IT environment while assisting with AV support and service delivery for external customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Internal IT & Microsoft 365

· Provide internal IT support across hardware, software and user systems

· Manage onboarding, offboarding and user accounts

· Administer Microsoft 365, including:

o Entra ID / Azure AD

o Exchange Online

o Teams

o SharePoint

o Licensing and access management

· Manage devices and policies through Microsoft Intune

· Support and maintain Cyber Essentials Plus controls, including:

o MFA

o Conditional Access

o Endpoint security

o Patch and device compliance

· Maintain IT documentation, asset management and processes

AV Service & Customer Support

· Assist with AV service desk and support activities for external customers

· Provide remote troubleshooting and support for AV systems and meeting room technologies

· Work with engineers and project teams to resolve customer issues

· Support service delivery and help maintain high customer satisfaction

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical support?, Essential

· 3+ years' experience in IT support, systems administration or service desk roles

· Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience

· Experience with Intune and Entra ID / Azure AD

· Good understanding of cyber security and secure cloud environments

· Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

· Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of internal IT

· Customer-focused with a positive and collaborative approach

Desirable

· Experience maintaining or supporting Cyber Essentials Plus

· Microsoft certifications (MD-102 / Microsoft 365)

· ITIL, Network+ or Security+

· Experience in AV, Teams Rooms, UC or technical support environments

· MSP or managed services background
