Job description

This organisation is a leading UK-based non-profit undergoing a significant CRM and marketing technology transformation. With a large supporter base and a strong focus on engagement and customer experience, the organisation is investing heavily in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to modernise its communications strategy and marketing operations. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Implementation Manager will work closely with CRM, Data, Analytics, Project Management, and external Salesforce implementation teams to drive the successful rollout of a new marketing automation ecosystem and establish best-practice supporter journeys., * Serve as the Marketing Cloud subject matter expert throughout the implementation programme

  • Lead email marketing strategy, supporter journey design, and channel best practices within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Partner with the implementation consultancy to design and deliver email journeys, automations, campaigns, templates, and governance frameworks
  • Support pilot campaign launches, monitor performance, and drive optimisation activities
  • Manage the migration of email and messaging activity from legacy platforms into Marketing Cloud
  • Ensure deliverability, compliance, data quality, and customer experience are maintained during transition activities
  • Help define new operating models, processes, governance structures, testing frameworks, approval workflows, and reporting standards
  • Collaborate with Data, BI, and Analytics teams to develop supporter journey reporting frameworks and performance dashboards
  • Lead Marketing Cloud adoption, user enablement, and training initiatives across the business
  • Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog prioritisation activities
  • Gather and document requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmap priorities

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering successful email marketing programmes
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices including deliverability, segmentation, personalisation, and automation
  • Experience implementing, managing, or optimising Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with a data-driven approach to campaign optimisation
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance improvement strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and results-driven approach
