Job description
We are a multi-entity wholesale distribution business running NetSuite OneWorld across three subsidiaries. We already have an admin and a senior NetSuite specialist on the team - we are looking for a developer to own the scripting, integration, and customization layer.
Our NetSuite account has years of accumulated history: hundreds of existing scripts, custom records, workflows, and integrations. You will not be starting fresh. The first thing you do here is read, study, and understand what already exists - before touching anything.
What you'll work on
- SuiteScript 2.x development (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet)
- OneWorld / multi-subsidiary workflows: intercompany POs/SOs, consolidated reporting, subsidiary-specific item availability
- Integrations: Celigo, Boomi, EDI, e-commerce connectors
- Item fulfillment, inventory management, drop-ship, special order, landed cost workflows
- SuiteAnalytics Workbook / saved searches / custom dashboards
- Code review, refactoring, and documenting the existing script library
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development
- SuiteScript 2.x fluency (User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlet)
- Solid understanding of governance limits and how to manage them
- OneWorld / multi-subsidiary experience - non-negotiable
- Integration experience with Celigo OR Boomi
- SuiteCloud Developer I certification (current within 2 years)
- JavaScript fundamentals - strong
- SuiteAnalytics Workbook and SQL-style query writing
What we look for in YOU (these matter more than the resume)
-
Business-process curiosity - you want to understand HOW the distribution business runs (POs, fulfillment, intercompany, cash flow), not just the code
-
Respect for existing systems - you read before you rewrite. You ask "why does this script exist?" before changing it
-
Highly responsive + communicative - fast replies, proactive updates, no disappearing for days
-
Clean code - readable, commented, follows SuiteScript best practices
-
Sandbox-first discipline - you NEVER push to production without testing. Non-negotiable.
-
Team player - works closely with our admin, NetSuite specialist, and other developers. No lone-wolves.
