Job description

Lead onboarding of applications into enterprise CI/CD and OpenShift container platforms Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support scalable, automated deployments Configure, deploy, and support workloads in Kubernetes/OpenShift/AKS environments Engineer and deliver new capabilities within the container platform in a fully automated manner Develop scripts and automation to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency Identify vulnerabilities and drive improvements in performance, reliability, and security Partner with development teams to support releases and troubleshoot production issues Provide leadership in high-pressure situations and act as a go-to technical resource Support multiple applications simultaneously in a fast-moving, Agile environment, We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in OpenShift and CI/CD tooling to support a large, global engineering organization. This individual will play a key role in onboarding applications into an enterprise OpenShift container platform, supporting multiple product teams in a highly Agile, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with visibility across a 100+ member global team, focused on modernizing infrastructure, automating delivery pipelines, and improving platform reliability and scalability. We are looking for a technical leader who can take ownership and drive initiatives forward-someone who is highly passionate about OpenShift and container technologies, thrives under pressure, and excels as a problem-solver in complex environments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills who can operate effectively in high-visibility situations and partner closely with both engineering teams and senior leadership.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift (critical requirement) Strong experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Artifactory Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Ansible Tower Strong scripting/programming experience (Python, Shell, or Groovy) Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Experience supporting containerized production environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift) Strong Linux administration experience Proven ability to support multiple applications and prioritize effectively Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact with senior leadership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience with Jenkins Pipelines and XL Release Exposure to A/B testing and deployment strategies Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace) Background in large-scale, distributed enterprise systems OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
