Job description
- Collect, analyze, validate, and manage geospatial data using GIS, remote sensing, and GPS tools
- Design, build, maintain, and test geospatial databases and enterprise geodatabases
- Perform spatial analysis and GIS processing using ArcGIS and related Esri products
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts using Python and SQL
- Produce maps, web maps, and visualizations to support analysis and decision making
- Integrate geospatial data with other datasets to generate actionable insights
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS users and systems
- Support data automation, migration, and database development efforts
- Coordinate tasks with project and technical managers
- Document processes, results, and customer interactions
Requirements
- US citizenship with Active or Current (within two years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geospatial engineering, computer scient or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience using GIS technologies
- Knowledge of Windows environments
- Proficiency with Esri products (ArcGIS Desktop, Enterprise, and Online)
- Experience with spatial analysis, GIS workflows, and database development
- Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a team environment, * Experience in technical support or customer facing GIS roles
- Experience with data conversion or migration
- Knowledge of Linux and UNIX environments
- Familiarity with web mapping and remote sensing tools
- Proficiency in Python scripting and SQL
- GIS certifications
Clearance Requirement:
- Active/Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
