Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Administrator & Business Intelligence Analyst to manage, optimize, and maintain our Microsoft SQL Server environment while developing business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision making across the organization. This role is responsible for database administration, performance tuning, data integration, reporting, dashboard development, and analytics using Tableau., SQL Server Administration
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Monitor database performance, availability, and security.
- Perform database backups, restores, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and outages.
- Optimize SQL Server performance through indexing, query tuning, and resource management.
- Implement and maintain database security, user permissions, and compliance standards.
- Monitor storage utilization and plan for database growth.
- Develop and maintain database maintenance plans and automated jobs.
Database Development & Data Management
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and scripts.
- Create and maintain data models that support reporting and analytics needs.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Develop and support ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
Business Intelligence & Tableau Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Create data sources and semantic layers to support self-service analytics.
- Translate business requirements into actionable KPIs, metrics, and dashboards.
- Ensure dashboards are accurate, performant, and user-friendly.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing BI solutions.
- Train and support business users in leveraging Tableau and reporting tools.
Collaboration & Analytics
- Partner with business leaders to identify reporting and analytical opportunities.
- Assist departments in defining data requirements and reporting standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Document systems, processes, data definitions, and reporting methodologies.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SQL Server administration, data modeling, ETL processes, and Tableau development, along with the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and analytics solutions., * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Strong expertise in T-SQL, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar ETL tools.
- 3+ years of experience developing Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and business intelligence concepts.
- Experience with backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of database security and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft SQL Server certifications.
- Tableau Desktop Certified Professional or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Azure SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, or cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise business systems.
- Knowledge of data governance and master data management practices.
- Experience with Python, R, or other data analysis tools.
