We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Field Service Support professional to join our team! In this role, you will be the frontline hero for maintaining and troubleshooting our organization's IT infrastructure across various locations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills while providing vital support to our growing organization., * Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple locations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, including applications like Microsoft Office.
- Manage computer hardware setups, upgrades, and repairs while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Configure and support network components including LAN, VPN, firewall settings, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, and network devices like Meraki and Cisco switches.
- Assist with server management tasks involving Windows Server environments, Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), and BMC Remedy.
- Support mobile devices and peripherals by troubleshooting connectivity issues with tools like ServiceNow and Jira for ticketing and incident tracking.
- Collaborate with team members on help desk tickets to analyze issues thoroughly using analysis skills and provide clear communication to end-users.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proven experience in providing IT support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on desktop support and help desk functions.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, and VPN configuration.
- Hands-on experience managing computer hardware components and operating systems such as Windows (including Microsoft Windows Server), macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure management tools like SCCM, GPO, Active Directory, and network administration practices.
- Experience working with security tools such as firewalls and Meraki networking solutions is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
