Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Technology Product Owner for a leading enterprise technology client. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening infrastructure security by driving remediation of vulnerabilities and managing lifecycle risks across key technology platforms. Aligned to a specific domain such as databases, IAM, middleware, messaging, or AI infrastructure, the candidate will partner closely with engineering teams, vendors, and subject matter experts to prioritize and execute remediation strategies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, understands security risk frameworks, and can effectively balance technical depth with cross-functional coordination. Day-to-Day:
- Act as Product Owner for a specific infrastructure portfolio
- Review and prioritize security vulnerabilities across systems
- Drive remediation efforts in partnership with engineering teams
- Track and manage EOL/EOS risks and roadmaps
- Collaborate with vendors and SMEs to implement solutions
- Ensure alignment between security priorities and infrastructure upgrades
- Monitor vulnerability findings and adjust prioritization as needed
- Support ongoing risk reduction initiatives across core infrastructure
Requirements

Strong experience in at least one infrastructure domain: o Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) o Identity & Access Management (IAM, Active Directory, Azure AD) o Middleware (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat) o Messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ) o AI / Compute infrastructure platforms

Vulnerability Management expertise o Understanding of CVEs, risk scoring, and prioritization o Experience with tools such as Qualys or Tenable

Experience with Technology Lifecycle Management o Managing End-of-Support (EOS) and End-of-Life (EOL) technologies o Planning upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning

Strong stakeholder collaboration and prioritization skills

Product ownership or similar experience within infrastructure environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Automation/scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Background in large enterprise environments
- Relevant certifications: o CISM, CISSP o SAFe PO/PM o ITIL
