Job description

Apogee Global RMs is seeking for a Cloud Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure to design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures that support enterprise-scale applications, modernization initiatives, and secure cloud operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who can translate business needs into scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions., * Architect end-to-end cloud solutions across AWS and/or Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence

  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives
  • Design cloud- architectures using services such as EC2, Lambda, AKS/EKS, API Gateway, App Services, VPC, IAM, and more
  • Partner with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver high-impact cloud solutions
  • Develop reference architectures, best practices, and technical documentation
  • Conduct cloud assessments, cost optimization reviews, and performance tuning
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across multi-cloud environments
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory frameworks

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or solution design
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and/or Azure (multi-cloud )
  • Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and cloud- applications
  • Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep
  • Strong understanding of networking, , security, and cloud governance
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and container orchestration (AKS/EKS)
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) are a plus

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with hybrid cloud or on-prem to cloud migrations
  • Background in security architecture or cloud compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with FinOps or cloud cost governance
