Job description
The VMware System Administrator is responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, and monitoring of virtual infrastructure environments. This role ensures stable and secure access to enterprise applications while supporting business continuity and innovation. The role involves working across IT domains including automation, server administration, virtualization, storage, security, and cloud technologies, with a primary emphasis on VMware environments.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate degree in IT or related field (or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
- Experience with server hardware (Cisco UCS preferred) and Windows/Linux OS.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools is a plus.
- Understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, vSwitches, distributed switches)
Preferred Requirements
- VMware Certified Associate (VCA)
- Server+, A+, or equivalent
